 RE: vicodin withdrawls

Hey Debby,
I've quit several addictions, most recently cigarettes, but the vicodin was probably the worst in terms of physical withdrawl symptons for me. From what I remember (I was 14 when I quit) it was really important to keep my mind occupied. Think of things you really enjoy doing (reading, walking, writing, movies) etc, and concentrate fully on them- the sickness will go away, but in the mean time, try to make yourself comfortable and take your mind off of it. The best way I found to deal with those symptoms was to treat myself as if I had the flu - it was very similar. Hope this helps a little :) Good luck! -Mae
