Hello everyone,

When I was in New York for the Rosie O'Donnell Show I was also in a photo shoot for the magazine, Marie Claire. We were dressed in very special t-shirts. You see, Marie Claire asked underprivileged youth from inner cities to draw a picture that conveyed a gun control message. It was a tough decision. All of the entries were so creative, and so full of meaning but the people at Marie Claire narrowed it down. The winner was selected, and their drawing was reproduced on a t-shirt.

Other celebrities who joined me in wearing this extraordinary t-shirt include Sting and his wife Trudie Styler, Susan Sarandon, and Uma Thurman. We hope that this will lead to a change in gun legislation. We are devoted to spreading peaceful message.

The portraits will be published in the January 2001 issue of Marie Claire, so check the newsstands for it!
