Hi Everyone! Happy Holidays!

What a wonderful time on Broadway! Playing Roxie Hart in the musical CHICAGO was one of the most amazing times of my life. I spent all of April, May and June training for it. Greg Butler and Gabriela Garcia, who are the dance captains, spent so much time teaching me to dance. They are two of the most patient people in the world! Also beautiful Sandahl Bergman trained me when I was in LA. Joan Lader taught me to sing. And of course the awesome Ann Reinking came in to "finesse me" for the last month of training. Leslie Stifelman "my conductor" was my backbone. I thank all of them from the bottom of my heart. The cast was brilliant-- Deidre Goodwin, Brent Barrett, Camille Saviola, P.J. Benjamin, Greg Butler, Gabriela Garcia, Donna Marie Asbury, Roxane Carrasco, David Sabella, Denis Jones, Marc Calamia, John Mineo, Shawn Emamjomeh, David Warren-Gibson, Krissy Richmond, Michelle Potterf, Michelle Robinson, Sharon Moore, Belle Calaway, Bernard Dotson, James Patrick Moran-I was so fortunate to work with such a talented group. They are all still doing it 8 times a week! So remember when you see it for the first time, that it may be their 4 or 7th time that week. What a hectic schedule! I would also like to thank all of the critics who were so very kind, especially Ben Brantley from 'The New York Times'. I wonder if someone paid him to be so incredibly gracious with me! Thank you Ben!

Thank you all for your support in New York and here on my site. In the next few months I will be updating the "Gallery" and "Behind the Scenes" areas of my site with photos from the musical CHICAGO. I hope you enjoy them!

Antonio and I just came back from Spain where we had a much-needed time with the family. And now we are preparing for the Christmas holiday. We will spend Christmas and New Years with the whole family in Aspen--Wow! Where has this year gone to!?

I wish all of you a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends. And remember--Shop till you drop! Talk to you next year!

With Love and Respect,
Melanie
